UM, ACTUALLY is Becoming a Board Game to Play at Home
Um, Actually is a hilarious game show on Dropout.tv all about nerds and geeks correcting incorrect statements. It’s a blast to watch and now you have the chance to play at home with family and friends. College Humor has teamed up with Wiggles 3D to create a board game version of Um, Actually. You can head on over to Kickstarter to secure a copy when the game launches next year and get ready to correct your family and friends and prove that you know more stuff about random things than them. The base version of the game will cost approximately $32 and features 420 questions in 7 categories (Fantasy, Cartoons, Comics, Sci-fi, Games, Shiny and Real-Life Skills) with support for up to 6 players. The Deluxe Edition will add three new categories, Anime, Horror, and 80’s & 90’s and support for an additional 2 players. Fans of Dimension 20 will also be able to buy a set of cards as an add-on with all questions about the popular tabletop show. Finally, there’s the Community Edition (included in the Deluxe Edition) that adds 60 questions that will be voted on by backers during the campaign.
This looks great! I think that this is going to be a fantastic trivia game as it will be very hard for one of these cards to become unusable in the future. There is the same problem where if you play frequent enough than it could be easy to memorize answers, but that’s a problem with every game in the genre. The game has already crushed its funding goals and still has over 20 days left. I’m very excited for Um, Actually to release!
