Uma Thurman Set To Star in Fun-Sounding Action Thriller BALLERINA OVERDRIVE
Uma Thurman (Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill) has joined a cool-sounding indie action film project titled Ballerina Overdrive.
The movie follows “a troupe of ballerinas who find themselves fighting for survival as they attempt to escape from a remote inn after their bus breaks down on the way to a dance competition.”
Vicky Jewson will direct the film from a script by Kate Freund, and Kelly McCormick and David Leitch (The Fall Guy, Bullet Train) are producing.
The cast also includes Lana Condor, Iris Apatow, Millicent Simmonds, Maddie Ziegler and Avantika. The movie is currently in production in Budapest.
Thurman is an awesome actress and this sounds like it’s going to be a super fun project for her to be a part of. ash.
Thurman is also set to star opposite Richard Gere and Jacob Elordi in Paul Schrader’s Oh, Canada, and it will be released in theaters in December. Next up, Thurman will star in the Netflix film The Old Guard 2 opposite Charlize Theron which is expected to be released in 2025.
