Uma Thurman To Star in Netflix's Supernatural Drama Series CHAMBERS
Uma Thurman (Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill) is set to star in a new supernatural drama series being developed by Netflix called Chambers. The series is being produced by Oscar-winning writer Stephen Gaghan (Traffic, Syriana) and this is the synopsis that was released:
Chambers centers on a young heart attack survivor who becomes consumed by the mystery surrounding the heart that saved her life. However, the closer she gets to uncovering the truth about her donor’s sudden death, the more she starts taking on the characteristics of the deceased — some of which are troublingly sinister.
Thurman will play a character named Nancy, who is "the mother of the heart donor who forges a hesitant relationship with the young recipient only to find her daughter may not be as dead as she thought."
I think this could make for a solid series, especially with Uma Thurman on board to star in it. Chambers was created by Leah Rachel, who will write it and be the showrunner alongside Akela Cooper. It also landed a 10-episode straight-to-series order.
