UNCHARTED Featurette Highlights The Hardest Stunt Tom Holland Has Done and There's a New Poster
Sony Pictures has released a new featurette for Uncharted for your viewing enjoyment. It features Tom Holland talking about one scene in particular in the movie that involves the hardest stunt work that he’s had to do in a movie yet.
Holland has done a ton of his own stunt work in the movies that he makes, especially when he plays Spider-Man for Marvel. But Uncharted gave him the opportunity to take on the challenge of doing some crazier stunts.
The scene he talks about involves falling out of the back of an airplane. This scene is highlighted in the trailers that have been released. While Holland is doing this in a safe environment with green screen and cables, it still looks hard! Tom Cruise would just do this whole thing for real though.
I also included a new poster for the film that you can check out below the featurette.
Uncharted “introduces audiences to street-smart Nathan Drake (Tom Holland) and showcases his first treasure-hunting adventure with wisecracking partner Victor 'Sully' Sullivan (Mark Wahlberg)," the synopsis for the upcoming movie reads. "Inspired by the acclaimed video game series, this action-adventure epic spans the globe and follows Nate and Sully as they embark on the dangerous pursuit of 'the greatest treasure never found' while also tracking clues that may lead to Nate's long-lost brother.”
The movie was directed by Ruben Fleischer (Venom) and Art Marcum and Matt Holloway wrote the script.
The Uncharted movie hits theaters on February 18th, 2022.
