Uneasy Sci-Fi Thriller Short - FRAGMENT
"Fragment" is an impressively made sci-fi thriller that tells the story of an Air Force pilot who survives a crash after his jet breaks up over the desert. According to the synopsis, "a mysterious radio beacon draws the pilot from the crash site. A discovery is waiting. And it is not of this Earth."
The short was directed by Noah Griffith, and it's awesome. The concept may be simple, but the execution of it is wonderful. It has an uneasy feel to it that builds from a slow pace into an intense confrontation with some kind of creature. I really liked this one, and I think many of you will, as well.
