Universal in Negotiations to Make Tom Cruise's Upcoming Film That Is Set to Be Shot in Space

Universal is currently in negotiations to take on the upcoming much talked about Tom Cruise film that is set to be shot in space. The movie will be directed by Doug Liman, who has collaborated with Cruise on Edge of Tomorrow and American Made. It was announced in May that the film was planning on being the first movie to shoot in space, gaining the support of Elon Musk’s SpaceX, and NASA, who will house the production on the International Space Station.

The film is said to not have a script yet, but fans are pumped up just at the aspect of the completely uncharted territory that it will be to shoot a film in space. Just the making of the film would make a good movie! It’s pretty incredible that the 58 year old actor will probably be 60 years old before the movie begins production at this rate, and he is just going all in on every movie, raising the stakes as he goes.
