Universal's THE INVISIBLE MAN Reboot Gets a Release Date

Things are moving along with the production of the upcoming Universal and Blumhouse film, The Invisible Man. We learned last month that Elisabeth Moss (Mad Men, The Handmaid’s Tale) was cast in the film, and now we know Storm Reid (A Wrinkle in Time) will also play a role.

Leigh Whannell (Upgrade, Insidious: Chapter 3) has signed on to direct the film based on the original monster movie from 1933, as well as the novel by H.G. Wells.

We now have a release date for the upcoming film of March 13, 2020. This puts the film up against Godzilla Vs. Kong, but that should make the box office pretty fun! It will be a great double feature at the drive-in or in the theater.
