Unlikely Co-Stars Seth Rogen and Charlize Theron to Headline a New Comedy Called FLARSKY

When I think of comedic co-stars, Seth Rogen and Charlize Theron don't exactly pop to mind quickly. Sure, each one of them work well separately (Rogen's bona fides speak for themselves, but don't sleep on Theron in Young Adult or Arrested Development), but together? We're about to find out how that goes down, since the two will soon appear in a new movie from 50/50 director Jonathan Levine called Flarsky.

Deadline reports that the movie "centers on an unemployed journalist (Rogen), battered by his own misfortune and self-destructive ways, who endeavors to pursue his childhood crush and babysitter who now happens to be one of the most powerful and unattainable women on Earth (Theron)." This sounds like it might actually be pretty good. From the logline, it seems as if the two stars are leaning into the types of characters they've played before, and I'm confident Levine is a talented enough guy to bring this home in a satisfying way. Dan Sterling (The Interview) is writing the script, but there's no word yet on a start date or any other talent involved. We'll keep you posted when we hear more.
