A new trailer has been released for the creepy thriller Stalker, about a rideshare driver who becomes obsessed with a man he gives a ride to. In the wake of moving to Los Angeles after a breakup, Andy (Vincent Van Horn) gets a ride from Roger (Michael Lee Joplin) from a rideshare app, and after resisting the friendship that Roger is pushing, Andy and his new girlfriend (Christine Ko) become the subject of Roger’s stalking.

The film is directed by Tyler Savage (Inheritance), from a script he co-wrote with Dash Hawkins.

Here’s the official synopsis:

In the wake of a messy break-up, Andy Escobedo decides to start fresh, relocating from Austin to Los Angeles. Eager to make new connections, he befriends Roger, an unusual rideshare driver. But when Roger’s behavior gets too strange for comfort, Andy blows him off, choosing to focus on a budding relationship with his new girlfriend, Sam. This unhinges Roger, who begins to torment Andy, ensuring that his stay in L.A. is short-lived.

This looks like a super intense movie. I don’t know if I will be able to hang, but if you’re up for a thriller, check out the trailer and poster below, and watch Stalker streaming and On Demand on June 18th.
