Here’s a trailer for a super low-budget horror movie titled The Long Dark Trail, which Cleopatra Entertainment compares to films such as Stand by Me and Midsommar. For such a low budget movie, it looks interesting.

The movie is described as an “unnerving new folk horror tale” and this is the synopsis for the movie:

After two impoverished teenage brothers manage to escape their abusive father, they embark on a treacherous and haunted journey in the hope of finding their estranged mother who has joined a sadistic cult, deep in the woods of Northwestern Pennsylvania.

The movie was written and directed by Kevin Ignatius and Nick Psinakis, and it stars Trina Campbell and Brady O’Donnell. The movie will be released on Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital on February 21th, 2023.
