The Perfection was screened last year at Fantastic Fest, and I’ve heard nothing but great things about this new horror thriller! Netflix ended up picking up the rights to the film and today we have the first terrifying trailer for it to share with you. This movie looks seriously jacked up.

The film is described as being an “elegant and terrifying suspense ride filled with unexpected twists and turns The story follows a troubled musical prodigy Charlotte (Allison Williams) who “seeks out Elizabeth (Logan Browning), the new star pupil of her former school, the encounter sends both musicians down a sinister path with shocking consequences.”

The Perfection was directed by Richard Shepard (The Matador, Girls), and it’s said to be overflowing with dizzying horror and sly dark humor.

The film will be released globally on Netflix Friday, May 24, 2019. I think this looks like a great horror movie and I’ll definitely be checking it out. Watch the trailer for yourself and tell us what you think.
