Unnerving Trailer For a Twisted-Looking Horror Movie Titled ENYS MEN
Neon has released a trailer for a crazy-ass looking horror movie titled Enys Men. The trailer makes the movie look like a movie version of the VHS tape from the 2002 horror film The Ring. It just has that same style and maddening visual tone. I’m not quite sure what is going in the trailer, but it looks like an incredibly unsettling nightmare.
In the movie, “A wildlife volunteer on an uninhabited island off the British coast descends into a terrifying madness that challenges her grip on reality and pushes her into a living nightmare. Evoking the feeling of discovering a reel of never-before-seen celluloid unspooling in a haunted movie palace, this provocative and masterful vision of horror asserts Mark Jenkin as one of the U.K.’s most exciting and singular filmmakers.”
Mark Jenkin (Golden Burn, The Rabbit, Happy Christmas, and Bait) is the director of the film, and it looks like he’s made something that is really going to mess with people’s heads! Watch the trailer for yourself, it’s really quite unnerving.
The film stars Mary Woodvine and it ill be released in theaters and on VOD starting in early 2023.
