Unused STAR WARS Concept Art Gets an Incredible New Life in Practical Models
There are some cool Star Wars designs that never made it to the screen, and that's exactly what makes this latest fan project so much fun.
Unused concept sketches from the original Star Wars productions have fueled fans' imaginations for decades, and modelmaker Landon Tilley has taken that inspiration to the next level by transforming several of those forgotten designs into gorgeous physical creations.
His builds include a never-produced concept droid, an alien creature, and an Imperial Walker, all crafted with a mix of classic miniature modelmaking techniques and modern methods.
The result feels like these designs were pulled straight out of the Lucasfilm archives and finally given the chance to exist in the real world.
For Star Wars fans who love digging into Ralph McQuarrie-era concepts and the franchise's rich production history.
