Updated Release Dates for STAR WARS Shows Including THE MANDALORIAN, ANDOR, THE ACOLYTE and SKELETON CREW
We have a post-strike update for all the Star Wars series fans out there. Some shows seem to have been affected by the long-running strikes, and some have other reasons for taking a long time, but whatever the reason, we have a rough timeline for you to check out courtesy of Bespin Bulletin and Making Star Wars (via SFFGazette.com/CBM).
The outlets report that despite previous reports that Star Wars: Skeleton Crew was going to be released at the end of 2023, the series created by Jon Watts and Christopher Ford has been delayed by an entire year, so we can expect it in the fall/winter of 2024.
It’s looking like The Acolyte will be first series to arrive next year (likely late summer), with Andor Season 2 pushed to 2025 after previously being confirmed for an August '24 launch.
As for The Mandalorian Season 4, it seems the strikes have benefited that series from a creative standpoint, but it too is unlikely to be released until 2025. That's a little disappointing, of course, but on the plus side, we are anticipating seeing The Acolyte, Skeleton Crew, The Bad Batch, and Tales of the Jedi next year.
Which series are you most looking forward to digging into?
