Use Gravity to Your Advantage in DUNGEONS & DRAGONS with FIGHTER: SKY BREAKER ARCHETYPE

Crit Academy recently released a new supplement for Dungeons & Dragons players called Fighter: Sky Breaker Archetype. As the title suggests, this is a new subclass for Fighter characters to consider at level 3. Sky breakers are supposed to defend their kingdom from aerial threats and as such have some control over gravity magic that they can use to boost their own skills or as a tool for bringing down their foes. It’s a cool idea that I’m sure many players will find creative uses for.

Sky breakers are an order of knights who protect the skies from the beasts above. Through masterful martial training and a touch of magic, the world around them becomes theirs to command. Founded by the mage knight Gunduik Zeeinos, he was the first to be titled Sky Breaker after he defended his kingdom from a dragon attack with his spear and magic. His unique magic and fighting style focused on the manipulation of gravity on objects and creatures. This became the foundation of his order.

He quickly trained recruits in martial combat, but there were few with the magical talent needed to warp the laws of the world to their will. While unable to use magic, the sense of law and skills that were imbued as they trained still made trainees into excellent honor guards.

Eventually, those that take to the sky have the greatest duty of fending off attacks from some of the strongest airborne enemies, such as wyverns, dragons, and other sky-bound creatures. While there are few who have succeeded in this endeavor, those that do, become heroes of renown.

You can purchase Fighter: Sky Breaker Archetype from DriveThru RPG for $1.95.
