Dungeons & Dragons players are revisiting the Ravenloft campaign setting with the recent release of Van Richten’s Guide to Ravenloft. The book is fantastic and if you’re into horror, it’s a must-have in my opinion for DMs with great options for players.

While the recent book does offer a few new subclasses tailored more for the horror-theme, Darren Kenny, Frederic Walker (Kor-Artificer), Iam Pace, Kai Linder, Matthew Whitby, Nathan Doyle, StickyHunter, Sven Truckenbrodt, and Vall Syrene teamed up to create The Book of Night with over 40 new subclasses to fit the theme.

Two subclasses that I think are particularly cool are the College of Tarokka for Bards and the Blood Knight for Fighters. This is a great add-on for anyone thinking of playing in Ravenloft.
