Vancouver's Police Department is Trying to Recruit DEADPOOL 2 Actor Ryan Reynolds

Deadpool 2 has been shooting up in Vancouver, B.C. for the past few weeks and we have been treated to many behind the scenes photos from stars Ryan Reynolds and Josh Brolin. Well yesterday Reynolds took to social media twice, once to poke fun at co-star Brolin's physique and the second time to thank Vancouver police for keeping the Deadpool 2 set secure. He posted the same photo on both Instagram and twitter with different captions:

Twitter:

"Thank you #VPD. And the great people of Vancouver for putting up with road closures and traffic delays as we film Spider-Man downtown."

Instagram:

"With great power, comes great... inconvenience. Huge shout-out to the incredibly hard working #VPD. And I'd like to especially thank the great people of Vancouver for putting up with road closures and traffic delays as we film Spider-Man downtown. #YVR #GreatCops🇨🇦"

I love that Reynolds laid blame on all the delays and closures to the new "Spider-Man movie." I'm not sure if he was using his sarcasm to blame Spidey, or if he was referring to instances of officers confusing his Deadpool costume for Spider-man. Either way, it's funny. You can even see Reynolds making the iconic hand gesture that Spider-Man is known for when he's about to sling a web.

Then in response to Reynolds posts the Vancouver Police Department fired back, asking for Reynolds to trade in his Deadpool costume for a Vancouver badge:

"Hey @VancityReynolds, when filming wraps for #DeadPool2, keep us in mind! We'll trade your red uniform for blue! #JoinVPD joinvpd.ca #VPD"
