Vanessa Kirby Reportedly Cast as Sue Storm in Marvel's FANTASTIC FOUR
According to a recent report, Marvel Studios has cast Vanessa Kirby in the role of Sue Storm, aka The Invisible Woman, in Fantastic Four. The news was dropped by entertainment scooper Jeff Sneider on an episode of The Hot Mic podcast.
He also offered updates on what’s going on with some of the other characters saying: “Reed - Not cast, unlikely to be Matt Smith; Johnny - Cast, but apparently NOT Jack Quaid; Thing - Cast, but apparently NOT Paul Walter Hauser; Galactus - Latino; Ebon Moss-Bachrach - Not Thing, but possibly Silver Surfer.”
Adam Driver was long rumored to be playing Reed Richards in the film, but we recently learned that he turned down the offer early on after he read the script. As for Sue Storm, there were previous rumors that Margot Robbie was taking on the role.
As of right now, nothing has been confirmed in regard to casting for Fantastic Four. It seems like the rumors of who is being cast are always changing, even from the same sources. But, it would be pretty awesome if Kirby is actually taking on the role of Sue Storm! She’s such a talented actress and she would perfectly fit the role. I’d be happy to see Kirby land the role!
Kirby most recently appeared in Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One as Alanna Mitsopolis. She is also set to appear in Ridley Scott’s Napoleon movie with Joaquin Phoenix.
