Variety Shares Its Top 10 TV Shows of All Time, What Do You Think of The List?

There have been so many great TV shows made since television was invented and breaking them all down into a Top 10 list might be difficult for some people. Daniel D’Addario, the Chief TV Correspondent for Variety, listed what he believes are the best in his “Top Ten TV Shows of All Time.”

10- Roots

9- Mary Tyler Moore

8- Seinfeld

7- The Wire

6- Sex and the City

5 - Breaking Bad

4 - The Simpsons

3- The Sopranos

2- Mad Men

1- I Love Lucy

I agree with some of these, but some of them I don’t. I’d shuffle some of the shows around on the list and remove others. Everyone’s list is going to be different, and for me, one thing I know for sure is that The Twilight Zone would be number one on the list. The fact that it’s not in the Top 10 tells me that this guy shouldn’t be making lists about TV shows. The Twilight Zone changed everything not only in terms of TV, but films as well.

Some of the shows on the list are already forgotten, but the influence of The Twilight Zone is still strong and more relevant than most of the shows on this list. What do you think?
