Vengeance Strikes in Concept Trailer For NIGHT RUN - An 80s Inspired Action Thriller That Will Raise The Dead
I've got a radical concept trailer for a hardcore 80s inspired action thriller called Night Run. The film is currently looking for funding on Kickstarter and it actually looks like a lot of fun, especially if you are into this whole 80s revival radcore thing that was popularized by Stranger Things.
Night Run is set in the year 1985 and it's filled with synth wave music, fast cars and a man who will stop at nothing to get his revenge. Here's the synopsis:
The year was 1985, Daniel McCormack was like any other man, dreaming of sports cars and a brighter future with his girlfriend, Jennifer. One night Daniel stops an assault on several civilians by the notorious Kano Gang who have been overpowering the city of Santa Mira. Unfortunately, Daniel’s bravery is short lived as he is murdered by Johnny, the gang’s leader. A year later, on a thunderous October night, Daniel rises from his grave seeking revenge on the men who took his life, his future and his dreams.
The movie was inspired by 80s entertainment such as Miami Vice, Death Wish, The Wraith, Tuff Turf, and Creepshow. The producers of the film are only asking for $5,000 to make this thing and as of writing this, they are over half way there. If you like what you see in the trailer below, help 'em out!
They certainly did a great job of nailing that classic 80s vibe! It looks like it could be a fun flick! I'd watch it!
