Venom Takes Over in New "Venomverse" Marvel Comics Event!
Venom is back and he's brought along some friends. A few years ago, we had our first look at Marvel Comics' "Spiderverse". It shows multiple Spider-people teaming up from different dimensions to fight greater threats. Well, this year it looks like we're getting a darker side, known as the "Venomverse".
This special story arc has been teased for a few months now, but we have known very little about it except some of the characters who get venomized. Some new information has just been released giving us some art and story details. The biggest details have to do with the return of Eddie Brock, and the great enemy that he will be facing. They are a race similar to the Klyntar but darker. The Klyntar is the technical term for the venom symbiote race, who come from a different planet as a galactic police force. So if the Klyntars are the good guys, then this new race called the Poison are definitely bad guys.
What's most exciting to a lot of people are all the characters that are going to get in on the venom action. While it's certain we'll get to see classic venom combinations like Venompool, Spiderman Simbiote, and Agent Venom, it's even more exciting to see the new combos. From what we know so far, some of the new symbiote pairs will be Gwenpool, X-23, Ghost-Rider, and Black Panther. Also, it looks like there will be a Hulk paired with a Poison as well.
