Venomous Launch Trailer For Marvel's SPIDER-MAN 2!
PlayStation has just dropped a new trailer for Insomniac and Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, and it’s packed with some pretty awesome new footage! I’ve enjoyed this Spider-Man game franchise and this next chapter is going to tell quite an epic story and a big chunk of that story revolves around Venom.
In the game: “The Spider-Men, Peter Parker and Miles Morales, enter new chapters in their lives as they balance their responsibilities as protectors of Marvel’s New York. As Harry Osborne, Peter’s best friend, returns into his life, and Miles looks to build his future beyond high school, the relationship between our heroes is tested and strained as the Symbiote appears to threaten them, the city, and the ones they love.”
This new chapter of the franchise will include a variety of famous Spider-Man villains, including Kraven the Hunter and Venom, who is voiced by Candyman star Tony Todd. Other characters include Mr. Negative, Harry Osborn, and Mary Jane Watson.
When talking about taking on the role of Venom in the game, Tony Todd said: “Venom was fun to do. I wanted to make sure there was a joyous quality in his destruction. I wanted a sense of joy and tenacity and deliciousness!” For more details on Venom and the game, click here.
