Victor Von Doom's New INFAMOUS IRON MAN Suit Concept Art Revealed

Despite the cold shoulder Marvel is giving its first superhero family, Dr. Doom is actually thriving in the world of comics. After last year’s Secret Wars, Victor Von Doom became God, finally had the scars on his face removed, and now he will don his very own Iron Man suit. Slated to be titled The Infamous Iron Man, Victor Von Doom has been announced as one of the two new Iron Avengers, with the other of course being Riri Williams, a 15-year-old African American girl who built her own Iron Man suit in her dorm room. Alex Maleev, the artist for the upcoming Infamous Iron Man series, has provided us with some early looks as to how Dr. Doom’s new suit will look this fall. 

Dr. Doom is easily my favorite villain and I could not be any more excited for a shift in the status quo. Although we have seen something similar to this with Dan Slott’s Superior Spider-Man run, in which Dr. Octopus took over Peter Parker’s mind/body and became Spider-Man for a year and a half, I think this stands for so much more. Dr. Doom will not be impersonating Tony Stark, but rather becoming his own version of the Iron Man. I would compare this more to Lex Luthor turning over a new leaf in Forever Evil. Either way, I absolutely love the design and it definitely has Doom’s classic feel to it. How do you think the suit looks?
