I myself was found guilty of looking at people at SDCC and thinking, "They don't look like that character at all," when really, why the hell should I care?! I went as The Flash for Halloween last year and my gut is way too big to look like Barry Allen! Cosplay isn't a Hollywood casting call or costume fitting; we should celebrate when it looks like it is, but also not get our feathers ruffled when it doesn't.
