Video Essay Explains Why STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI is a Great Film

Oh boy… here we go! Fans of director Rian Johnson’s Star Wars: The Last Jedi continue to defend it while haters of the film continue to tear it a part. It’s just how it is, it’s an on going debate that I’m sure will rage on for years to come, especially when fans of the film post stuff like this video.

Patrick (H) Willems is a fan of The Last Jedi and he’s decided to jump in the fires of Star Wars troll hell by posting a video essay that explains why the film is so great. He offers a passionate defense of the film that is supported by the story structure of the original trilogy by introducing new concepts and ideas. 

I know not everyone is going to agree with Patrick’s opinion, but he actually presents some pretty interesting thoughts that are worth checking out.
