I missed NerdWriter's latest video essay when it was posted a few days ago, but I just caught up with it and thought it was worth bringing to your attention in case you hadn't seen it either. It's all about movie titles, and points out some examples of filmmakers using the actual title card of the film in a clever or thought-provoking way, from Joss Whedon's Avengers (answering a character's question) to Saul Bass's iconic Alfred Hitchcock movie intros setting the stage for the type of story we're about to see.
