Video Explains Why Thanos' Plan in INFINITY WAR Was Terrible Outside of Ethics
Avengers: Endgame has been released and fans are loving what they’re seeing. Don’t fret if you haven’t though, as this post will not contain any spoilers for Endgame. Rather, we’ll be diving back to the previous Avengers film, Avengers: Infinity War.
In Infinity War, Thanos’ plan is that he will restore balance by wiping out half of all living things. This will in theory prevent over-consumption. This doesn’t sound like too bad of a plan either at first glance when you don’t care about the ethics of said situation. However, it turns out it’s still a bad idea once you actually consider all the nitty gritty.
Business Insider shared a video recently that talked about how flawed Thanos’ plan actually is. You see, because it essentially takes each living population by species and then divides that by half, you’re causing more problems for endangered species, killing off bees, and causing all sorts of problems with plant life.
Essentially, Thanos’ plan would destroy ecosystems and is terrible if his goal is to restore balance and let the survivors thrive once more.
