I remember in 1998 when Roland Emmerich’s Godzilla movie was first announced there was so much excitement. After all, the movie was coming from the same director who made Independence Day! Expectations were high, and I was so stoked for that movie!
Then I watched the movie and I hated it. I did not like that Godzilla movie at all. I’ve only seen it once in theaters and I never watched it again. The movie was supposed to have two sequels, but after crashing and burning with fans, those sequels were canned.
However, there was a an animated series that was made in conjunction with the movie titled Godzilla: The Series. It aired on Fox Kids between 1998 and 2000. Since I wasn’t a fan of the movie, I did not watch the cartoon series. But, if you watched and enjoyed it, we have a video for you to watch that you might like.
