Video: FORREST GUMP’s Production Designer Breaks Down Lt. Dan’s First Scene
We’ve got an interesting little video for you today from Vanity Fair’s Notes on a Scene, featuring Rick Carter, the production designer from the classic film, Forrest Gump. He walks through the scene in the movie where Forrest and Bubba land in Vietnam and meet Lt. Dan for the first time. He explains the backgrounds of the scene, and why specific products or props were used. It’s pretty cool, and very informative. Check it out below, and enjoy!
