It’s no secret that I’m not a fan of Hallmark movies. They are cheesy and predictable, and they all follow the exact same format. Many people find this appealing because they enjoy the Christmas-themed consistency, and many viewers like the expected happy endings of their films. I like my movies to work a little harder, and I have a slate of Christmas-themed movies that do it for me year after year. But apparently I’m not the only one who thinks Hallmark needs some fresh ideas.

Jimmy Kimmel released a new video from a segment on his show this week in which he goes to the Hallmark studios and pitches several crazy ideas for new Christmas movies. Once he finds an idea the executives like, he debuts the trailer for this funny project, and you can check it all out below. Enjoy!
