Did you know Thomas Edison directed America's first film featuring drugs...and it wasn't a negative film?! Turns out people were surprisingly okay with the use of drugs, but that all seemed to change in the mid '40s to '50s. Why did this happen? What was its effect on American society? I could break it all down for you, but The Court of Source already did it for me and included a bunch of fancy pictures as well.
