This Deleted Scene From TOY STORY 5 Would Have Been a Tear Jerker
A deleted scene from the Pixar sequel Toy Story 5 has been released that would have seen our heroine Jessie reunite with her original owner, Emily, who is a grandmother now, playing with her grandbaby outside.
The franchise is full of emotional moments, like the toys almost being destroyed, saying goodbye to Andy as he headed off to college, and saying goodbye to one another when the time came to go their separate ways. So this is par for the course as far as tugging the heartstrings of Toy Story fans.
The scene is just storyboard art, so it seems to have been cut early on in the process. The movie ended up returning Jessie to her original home, which meant we could have seen Emily if they’d chosen to go that route. But having a new family live in the home made better sense, and the story was lovely.
