I’ve got a video here for you to watch from Patrick (H) Willems, and it explores the art of opening title sequences in movies and how it’s dying. I love it when a film takes the opportunity to include an awesome opening title sequence!
When talking about title sequences, director Martin Scorsese said:
"I like credits. They promise something. Like posters, they promise something, ya know, because for me, credits sequences are sometimes more important than the movie, I don't know, because they present the picture a certain way."
I couldn’t agree more. It would be great to see more films incorporating cool and stylish opening credits sequences.
