Vin Diesel to Star in The Live Arena Tour of FAST AND FURIOUS
Of all the things I never expected to see go on tour with a show, Fast and Furious is one of them. I mean, I've been wrong before. There have been Marvel Superhero tours, musical theater tours, but a traveling tour revolving around people street racing? That's ridiculous.
But it's not. And what's more, they aren't just getting D-list actors to pretend to be like the stars of their show. (I'm looking at you Marvel Superhero tours). Vin Diesel has agreed to appear and go on tour with them as his character Dominic Toretto! The actor said on Facebook:
“As you know, my work with ‘Fast and Furious’ never ends, which I’m grateful for because of you all. I am in New York, believe it or not, and we are filming something that is going to be pretty state of the art, something no one’s ever seen before, which is a live show.”
The tour will be showing off many of the same stunts that were done for the films in the franchise. I guess that could be pretty cool. Seeing car stunts done in person on stage sounds pretty awesome. This just excites me for what will be touring next. Lord of the Rings? Back to the Future? I'm ready.
