Vince Vaughn and Kathryn Newton Will Star in a Body-Swapping Thriller for Blumhouse
Vince Vaughn and Kathryn Newton (Detective Pikachu) are set to star in a new thriller being produced by Blumhouse Pictures. The Untitled film is being directed by Chris Landon (Happy Death Day), and the story is said to deal with body-swapping.
The film centers on a young high school girl who swaps bodies with a deranged serial killer. She discovers that she has less than 24 hours before the change becomes permanent. It’ll certainly be interesting to see Vaughn acting like a teenage girl in a crisis!
Body swapping films like this are nothing new, but I’m sure that Landon, who wrote the screenplay with Michael Kennedy, will give us a different and unique take on the concept. I really liked what he did with the Happy Death Day films and hope he’ll bring some of that creativity to this next project.
