Vincent D'Onofrio Says DAREDEVIL: BORN AGAIN Season 3 Time Jump Will Not Be As Big As Previously Reported

Daredevil: Born Again season 2 ended a few months ago with our hero in prison, and the villainous Kingpin exiled. There’s a lot to unravel in season 3, and last we heard, showrunner Dario Scardapane said there would be about a one year time jump from the end of season 2 to when the show picks back up in season 3.

That seemed like a long time to leave Matt Murdock/Daredevil in the clink, and Wilson Fisk/Kingpin actor Vincent D’Onofrio is clearing that up. The actor revealed (via @_DaredevilShots/CBM):

"Charlie [Cox] and I have been involved in every aspect of the show, not just the acting. So, it's been a completely different experience and also fulfilling and really brutal and really hard on the body.

“Charlie and Wilson [Bethel] do a lot more stunts than I do, but this season it was a brutal season for all of us. There's a lot of action in the season, and we picked up literally only six months after the second season ends.

"So, he went to prison, I got exiled somewhere, right? I'm not going to say where, but I am, and then, you know, because we can't help it, we get back together again. But you know it's a completely different feeling inside and out during the new iteration and fulfilling."

Maybe that was a recent adjustment, but it’s good to hear that the story is getting fine tuned and ready to head into production. I’m excited to see where the story leads in the upcoming season.
