Vision is Rumored To Have a Big Role in Marvel's Scarlet Witch Series
As you know, Marvel Studios is developing several new series for Disney’s upcoming streaming service that will focus on some of the great second-tier characters that have been introduced in the MCU.
Some of those projects include Loki (Tom Hiddleston), Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen), Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson), and a team up series with Winter Solider (Sebastian Stan) and Falcon (Anthony Mackie).
Well, we’ve now learned that Vision (Paul Bettany) could actually end up playing a big role in the Scarlet Witch series. According to /Film, Vision and Scarlet Witch will have shared lead roles:
“The other thing I’m hearing is that Paul Bettany‘s Vision will have a large part in the previously reported Scarlet Witch show. In fact, it may actually be a series more about the super-powered couple than just Wanda.”
If this is true it makes sense. After all, the two characters have formed a heavy relationship in the MCU. The big question is, will these shows that are being developed take place before the events of Avengers: Infinity War or after?
I could see these new Marvel stories taking place between the events of Civil War and Infinity War. But, there’s also a chance that they could take place after depending on how Avengers 4 plays out. We’ll just have to wait and see.
I think it’s great that Marvel is going to explore these characters more, especially with Kevin Feige leading the charge on them.
