Visually Cool New Trailer For The Live-Action Adaptation of KNIGHTS OF THE ZODIAC
A new trailer has been released for the fantasy action film Knights of the Zodiac, which is a live-action adaptation of the 1986 manga, which was created by Masami Kurumada. The new trailer isn’t too long, but it packs quite a punch and shows off some really cool visuals!
The best-selling fantasy manga series incorporates aspects of Greek mythology into its story, and in it, the Greek goddess Athena is locked into a centuries-long war with other members of her family, who are all looking to take control of the planet. Athena ends up being reincarnated into the body of a young girl named Sienna.
The film follows a headstrong street orphan named Seiya, who is in search of his abducted sister when he unwittingly taps into hidden powers. “He discovers he might be the only person alive who can protect a reincarnated goddess, sent to watch over humanity. Can he let his past go and embrace his destiny to become a Knight of the Zodiac?”
The movie was directed by The Witcher’s Tomasz Bagiński, and it also stars Madison Iseman, Mackenyu, Famke Janssen, Mark Dacascos, and Sean Bean.
Knights of the Zodiac will be released overseas on April 28th and will be hitting theaters around the rest of the world at a later date.
