VIZ Media Recaps First BLEACH Story Arc In 150 Seconds

Viz Media’s official YouTube channel recently put out a video featuring protagonist Ichigo Kurosaki recapping the first story arc in the popular anime Bleach.

In only 150 seconds it manages to do a really good job in summarizing the events of the Substitute Shinigami story line and definitely reminded me of things I had forgotten. Bleach was one of the first anime I really got into and despite some less than stellar filler arcs, has remained one of my favorite series. Now that the 1000 Year Blood War story has started though, I’m finding myself more and more trying to remember all the details of certain characters.

This recap was helpful for me to remember some of the very early events and character meetings that took place then. I hope that they continue doing this for all the major stories to help save me time in remembering all the events that have led up to this final epic story. There are definitely a lot of details I have forgotten and could really use a refresher on but I don’t have the time to go back and rewatch or read everything.
