Wacky Trailer for Romantic Comedy MAYBE I DO Starring Diane Keaton, Richard Gere, Susan Sarandon, Emma Roberts, and William H. Macy

A new trailer has been released for the romantic comedy Maybe I Do, starring Diane Keaton, Richard Gere, Susan Sarandon, Emma Roberts, Luke Bracey, and William H. Macy. Keaton and Gere play the parents of Roberts, whose boyfriend embarrassingly intercepts her bouquet catch at a friends wedding, making her wonder if he loves her at all. In an effort to prove his commitment, he brings his parents, played by Sarandon and Macy, who have each been cheating on each other with Roberts’ character’s parents.

The official description reads:

With a star-studded ensemble cast, Maybe I Do stars Diane Keaton, Richard Gere, Susan Sarandon, Emma Roberts, Luke Bracey and William H. Macy in a multi-generational romantic comedy. Michelle (Roberts) and Allen (Bracey) have reached the point in their relationship to take the next steps toward marriage.  Thinking it is a good idea to invite their parents to finally meet, a dinner is set and the games begin.  To everyone’s surprise, the parents already know each other well - all too well - leading to distinct, defining, and hilarious opinions about the value of marriage.

This looks wildly ridiculous. I do like the cast, but I wonder if it will just be too silly. I’d be willing to watch to find out. Check out the trailer below, and watch Maybe I Do in theaters on January 27th.
