Wacky Trailer for the Raunchy R-Rated Musical DICKS: THE MUSICAL From Director Larry Charles
A24 has revealed the trailer for the ridiculous-looking raunchy R-rated musical, Dicks: The Musical, which was previously known as F***ing Identical Twins, and it seems like a pretty wacky and weird project. The project comes from comedy director Larry Charles (Curb Your Enthusiasm, Borat, Religulous, Bruno, The Dictator).
In the film, two self-obsessed businessmen (writers Aaron Jackson and Josh Sharp) discover they’re long-lost identical twins and come together to plot the reunion of their eccentric divorced parents. It’s also described as a “riotously funny and depraved musical.”
After you watch the trailer, you’ll see for yourself the kind of movie this is going to be and you’ll know pretty quickly if you’re going to be in or out. It seems like the kind of movie that will gain a cult following over the years.
The movie also stars Megan Thee Stallion, Nathan Lane, Megan Mullally, and Bowen Yang as God. A24 will debut Dicks: The Musical in select theaters on September 29th, 2023.
