This has been a year of fan disappointment, as studio shutdowns have resulted in shows and movies being pushed back to later — or even indefinite — dates. But after the news we shared a few days ago that revealed The Falcon and the Winter Soldier series has been bumped from its expected August release, we finally have some good news to share with you all!

According to a report from THR, the upcoming series WandaVision has been confirmed to be sticking to its 2020 release. When the show was first announced at Comic-Con last year, it was scheduled for a Spring 2021 release, then it was bumped up, then some reports speculated that the push back of the other Disney+ series would push it back as well. But the report says we will see definitely be seeing it before the year is through. Disney+ put out its list of August releases last week, and the expected Falcon and Winter Soldier series was not on the list. The streamer didn’t come out with an updated release date, so I’m assuming they’re adding finishing touches to it due to pandemic setbacks, and we will get surprised with it in the next couple of months. This would set the path for WandaVision to hit shortly after.

I know everything Marvel has an intricate timeline that all weaves together, so the creators have to play it right, so I think it’s awesome that we are still going to get these long-awaited series close to their original schedules! Are you getting pumped for these new series? What are you most looking forward to?
