WAR ON EVERYONE Red-Band Trailer: Alexander Skarsgard and Michael Pena Laugh It Up as Corrupt Cops

Alexander Skarsgard will step into the iconic loincloth when he appears in The Legend of Tarzan this summer, but soon, he and Micheal Pena will be hamming it up as corrupt cops in a new comedy from John Michael McDonagh, the writer/director of The Guard and Calvary. Icon Film has just released a red-band trailer for the movie (via /Film), and it looks pretty wild.

McDonagh is a terrific filmmaker with a flair for great dialogue and a knack for creating laugh out loud moments, so even though this trailer looks a little scattered, I'm still excited to see how this movie turns out. Sadly, while it opens in the UK on September 30, it doesn't have a U.S. release date yet, but we'll try to keep you posted when that information becomes available.

War on Everyone follows two corrupt cops in New Mexico who set out to blackmail and frame every criminal unfortunate enough to cross their path. Things take a sinister turn, however, when they try to intimidate someone who is more dangerous than they are. Or is he?

They're gonna kick your ass...and get away with it. IN UK CINEMAS SEPTEMBER 30, 2016 "War on Everyone is utterly irresponsible, completely hilarious, brilliantly scripted and right up there with the very best of Quentin Tarantino.
