WARCRAFT Celebrates $46 Million Opening Day in China

While the outlook for the U.S. market for Warcraft market has not been too optimistic, the movie is smashing records in China. The film's opening day saw $46 million in sales, which demolished the previous highest opening day record there formerly held by Avengers: Age of Ultron with $28.3 million, according to Variety.

That's still a long way to go if the film is expected to recover its $160 million budget, but definitely a good sign. We'll see if American fans will turn out in as small numbers as experts are predicting.
