WARM BODIES Director Jonathan Levine is Set To Helm Hulu's NINE PERFECT STRANGERS Series

Jonathan Levine, the director of films such as Warm Bodies, The Wackness, 50/50, and Longshot is set to helm all eight episodes of Hulu’s upcoming limited series, Nine Perfect Strangers.

The series has an impressive cast that includes Nicole Kidman, Melissa McCarthy, Samara Weaving, Luke Evans, Melvin Gregg, Grace Van Patten and Tiffany Boone.

The project is based on Big Little Lies author Liane Moriarty’s book, and the story takes place at “a boutique health-and-wellness resort that promises healing and transformation as nine stressed city dwellers try to get on a path to a better way of living. Watching over them during this ten-day retreat is the resort’s director Masha (Kidman), a woman on a mission to reinvigorate their tired minds and bodies.”

The series is being developed by David E. Kelley, who is also co-writing the series with John Henry Butterworth and Samantha Strauss and it’s being co-showrun by Kelley and Butterworth.

Levine is a talented director, filmmaker, and storyteller and I’m sure that he’ll do a solid job bringing this story to life.
