Warner Bros. Bumps Back DUNE by a Month and Gives Elvis Presley Movie a Release Date

Warner Bros. has released the news that they have pushed back the release date for the upcoming Denis Villeneuve-directed film Dune from November 20th, 2020 to December 18th, 2020. The film will be a sci-fi adaptation of the famous Frank Herbert novel by the same name. The movie is still in a prime holiday spot, and the studio is keeping the November slot open for an untitled project.

They also announced that Baz Luhrmann’s Elvis Presley biopic will get a release date of October 1, 2021. The untitled film will star Austin Butler (Switched at Birth, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood) as the king of rock n roll, and Tom Hanks will co-star as the singer’s manager, Colonel Tom Parker. The film will start shooting in early 2020 in Queensland, Australia.
