Warner Bros. Moves WONDER WOMAN 2's Release Date Up

Warner Bros. is moving up Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman 2 from December 13, 2019 to be released six weeks earlier on Nov. 1, 2019.

Patty Jenkins is returning to direct the sequel. The new date also puts Wonder Woman 2 seven weeks away from the release of Star Wars: Episode IX, which should pull in more box office sales. The new date is also a week before the opening of the 25th James Bond movie.

The first movie, Wonder Woman, opened with $103 million in North America on June 2-4, but has outperformed the other titles to become the 20th highest domestic grossing film of all time.

Even though the film won't be in theaters for 2 years, we will get to see Gadot as the powerful Amazon warrior in Justice League on November 17.
