Warner Bros. Rebooting SCOOBY DOO

Movie Scooby Doo by Joey Paur

According to Deadline, Warner Bros. is going to reboot Scooby Doo with another live-action film. The last Scooby-Doo film was released in 2004 and starred Freddie Prinze Jr, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Matthew Lillard, Linda Cardellini, and Isla Fisher as the young, independent detective team.

The report says that the studio is going to start from scratch, and they've hired Randall Green to create a new adventure. I'm not really familiar with that name and couldn't find much information on him, but he's going to be the guy bringing Scooby Doo back to the big screen.

The first couple of Scooby Doo films were fun for what they were, but they could've been better. My kids absolutely loved them, and they still watch those movies all the time. I've been a fan of Scooby-Doo since I was a little kid, and I guess I'll keep watching the movies as long as they keep pumping them out. I'm curious to see how they will handle these classic characters this next time around.
