Warner Bros. Reveals Their Updated Slate of DC Films
Over the weekend during Comic Con Experience 2017 in Sao Paulo, Brazil, Warner Bros. revealed its upcoming slate of DC Films that they'll be releasing.
We weren't really sure what exactly the future held for the DC Films after Justice League was released, but now we know. Most of the original plan is still in place, but there are a few films that weren't mentioned this time around.
The upcoming film slate includes Aquaman, Wonder Woman 2, Flashpoint, Justice League Dark, Suicide Squad 2, Batgirl, Shazam!, Green Lantern Corps, and The Batman. These films were apparently all presented with title cards.
The films that weren't included are the previously announced Cyborg movie, the Justice League sequel, Gotham City Sirens, the Harley Quinn and Joker movie, the Joker origin film, Black Adam and the Deathstroke film, which was teased at the end of Justice League. The fact these films weren't mentioned doesn't mean that they aren't still in development. Whatever the reasoning is, the studio isn't ready to officially include them in their line-up yet.
Aquaman is set to be released on December 21, 2018, Wonder Woman 2 on November 1st, 2019, Shazam on April 5, 2019, and Green Lantern Corps will hit theaters in 2020.
