Warner Bros. Trying for METHUSELAH Again, This Time with Michael B. Jordan

Methuselah was a man in the Bible who lived to be almost 1,000 years old. Well, Warner Bros. wants to make a movie about a man who stays alive for several hundred years called Methuselah.

The film is said to have a Highlander-like mythology and franchise potential. “The idea is for Jordan to play a man who has managed to survive for hundreds of years, without showing the physical signs of age. In that time, he has accumulated vast intellectual knowledge, from multiple languages to the sciences, as well as survival skills.”

A few years ago, WB was trying to make the film with Tom Cruise, but it never got off the ground. Now, it looks like the studio is teaming up with Michael B. Jordan to bring the story to life.

Jordan is set to star and his production company Outlier Society has joined the picture as well. Not much is known about the film except Zach Dean did write a version of the script.

I think the story has some potential, and I do enjoy watching Jordan. Do you think the film will actually take off this time around?
